On Tuesday, May 17, 2016, St. Tammany Fire District 3, Fire District 1, and Acadian Ambulance along with the Sheriffs Office and State Police responded to I-12 West Bound near mile marker 74 for the report of multiple vehicle accidents.  Upon arrival, it was determined that several vehicles were involved in seperate vehicle accidents along the interstate.  Along with several refusals for treatment and transport, some patients were transported by St. Tammany Fire District 3 and Acadian Ambulance to area hospitals.  The cause of the accidents are being investigated by State Police.
